Here are some past and present ways that Corps Members serve in the Greater Harrisburg area:

-Act as a statewide community organizer at PA Chapter of The Sierra Club

-Advocate for disenfranchised individuals and groups at the Pennsylvania Utility Law Project and the Community Justice Project

-Coordinate events and social media at the Episcopal Diocese of Central PA

-Assist uninsured and underinsured individuals access healthcare at the Beacon Clinic

-Further community development work through grant writing and local projects with Habitat for Humanity

-Aid in preschool classrooms and tutor older students at the Joshua Group

-Lead volunteers in construction projects at Habitat for Humanity

-Teach at Capital Area Head Start

-Mentor student fellows at the Center for Public Humanities at Messiah College

-Coordinate volunteers at CONTACT Helpline

-Advance fund development projects at Feeding Pennsylvania
